Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. He began his acting career as a character actor in television series such as Opposite Sexual Sex in the year 2000. After appearing in several teen movies, including Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, Evans became famous for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch. Evans has also been featured in films of comics as well as graphic novel TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). Alongside his character in the role of Captain America and Steve Rogers Evans earned him recognition for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) as well as Captain America: Civil War. His work on the Marvel series established him as one of the highest paid actors.
